As part of the development of new production facilities, the Kazakhstan Engineering group of companies is constantly negotiating with companies from different countries, including the Turkish state company ASFAT.

At the IDEF-2023 exhibition in Istanbul, Ural Plant Zenit JSC signed a memorandum stating that the plant, together with ASFAT, will offer projects for the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In case of interest from the Ministry, the companies will carry out further development of these projects. If construction is possible, it will be carried out at the site of Zenit JSC. This agreement also gives the company the opportunity to attract other partners to work together on projects.

Currently JSC "Ural Plant "Zenit" independently implements the first project in the history of the enterprise for the construction of a multifunctional vessel. It is designed to perform the logistics of ship facilities, lifting operations, assisting surface ships in damage control, fire fighting and emergency rescue operations, including medical evacuation to rescue crews, towing and emergency towing operations.

It is important to note that all upcoming projects are implemented only if there is a need and approval of the relevant specifications by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that the information reprinted by the Kazakh media and electronic publications from the Turkish website that Turkey will build warships for Kazakhstan does not correspond to reality.
